About this role
We are hiring care assistants for Hucknall as part of our wider Ashfield coverage. The role involves visiting people in their own homes to help with personal care, medication, meals, mobility and companionship. For many clients, you will be the person who makes the day feel manageable again.
Hucknall is a busy area with lots of families balancing work and caring responsibilities, so the role often suits carers who are organised, practical and good at keeping people reassured. We build rounds properly for the southern Ashfield patch, which helps visits stay reliable and stops the job turning into a driving marathon.
You do not need experience in care to apply. We will train you from scratch if needed. What matters is whether you can turn up, learn the role properly and treat people with patience and respect in their own home.

Requirements
What we're looking for
- A driving licence and your own car
- The right to work in the UK
- A genuine interest in helping people
You will need a driving licence, your own car and the right to work in the UK. We are especially keen to hear from people who communicate well, stay calm and are confident working independently once trained.
